Magnetic wear pads and liners

A NEW product line from ACR is fast becoming a major seller. Installed in mines from Tanzania to Mexico, the US and Canada, Magnaskin magnetic wear liners and pads come in a range of sizes and thicknesses, and are installed simply by magnetic force to any ferrous metal chutes, bins, hoppers – in fact, any sliding or impact abrasion area.
With installation by magnetic force only, there is no need for welding, bolting or adhesives. This is proving to be a real time saver for mining areas such as line chutes, bins, drop boxes, under pans and anywhere else that needs wear resistance and where downtime is an issue.
Moulded from hard-wearing rubber or urethane, the pads mean that rather than replace the entire wear surface or have new steel equipment fabricated and lined, you can easily replace just the pads that are worn out.
Magnaskin wear liners measure two inches thick for heavy wear areas and one-inch for side walls and other areas subject to less abrasion or impact. Standard dimensions are 12 inches by 12 inches, and the liners can be cut on a regular bandsaw to allow for fitting in awkward areas.
Corner section liners are also available and help prevent the build-up of material in the corners of drop boxes, bins and chutes. Magnaskin wear liners also come with a ceramic surface for special applications.
