Callaghan Innovation Connect

General Engineering

On June 4th, 2015 we are opening the doors of the Gracefield Innovation Quarter – Callaghan Innovation’s research and development premises in Lower Hutt.

Here some of New Zealand’s most innovative companies work alongside some of the country’s best scientists and technicians to find solutions to business challenges, identify opportunities and create and develop internationally competitive products and services. You’ll hear about some small privately-owned enterprises we’ve helped as well as major international and national companies. Most importantly, if you are in business and looking to use technology to get ahead, we invite you to come and discuss your business challenges with us.

From 9am – 4pm you can view some of our massive 10 hectare site where you can see first-hand the laboratories, office space, workshops and pilot labs in action with facilities that range from well-equipped machine shops to our supercritical fluid extraction plant. It’s a chance for you to see and talk about where you could extend your business’s capacity using our facilities and expertise.

‘More than meets the eye’ tours will be run for: GlycoSyn (small molecule solutions: scale up and cGMP manufacturing), Microfabrication, Supercritical Fluid Extraction, and our echo-free Anachoic Chamber. Pre-registration is required for the tours as numbers are limited.
The Gracefield Innovation Quarter is located at: 69 Gracefield Road, Lower Hutt, Wellington.
